If you are looking for a colour match for natural un-dyed coir, please be mindful that the colour can vary slightly between rolls of coir as it is a natural material and harvesting at different times of the year and different conditions can result in small colour variations. Therefore, a sample of natural un-dyed coir may not be exactly representative of the colour you later receive in your order.

Please Note: When viewing samples, do so in the lighting that they are going to be used. Colours do appear slightly different in differing light conditions and shadow. For example, in an area with a lot of natural light vs a dark area lit using artificial lighting. In addition, colours will appear different at arm’s length when viewing, compared to when placed on the floor.

Q. Length and Width vs Portrait and Landscape – What’s the Difference?

A. Length and Width: For our doormats, the width is the measurement from left to right. Across the face of the doorway. The length is the measurement from front to back, as if you were approaching the doorway. Portrait and Landscape: A doormat with a landscape orientation has the longest dimension running from left to right. A doormat with a portrait orientation has the longest dimension running from front to back (or top to bottom if you prefer).

For doormats with stripes or have personalisation, this is important to state, to ensure the mat is made the way you desire. However, length and width, nor portrait and landscape, do not matter for plain doormats. Simply turn the plain mat in situ to achieve the desired orientation.
